Diamond Fields International closed its shareholder rights offering. Shareholders subscribed for 28,036,629 shares at nine cents each.

Diamond Fields International began diamond mining offshore Namibia. Mining started Jan. 27, 2007, at Diaz Prospect 1 under a deal with Bonaparte.
