Kingston (Jamaica)  On 4 November 2022, Mr. Tomasz Abramowski, the Director General of IOM and Mr. Michael W. Lodge, the Secretary-General of the ISA, signed the Agreement on the Extension of the Contract for Exploration for Polymetallic Nodules for a period of 5 years.
