The company’s initial step-out program from the five discovery holes in the Luderitz Bay grant is complete. The company conducted these follow up samples to test the extent of diamond enrichment. Samples were taken at 10 metre step outs from the discovery holes. All 16 samples taken contained diamonds. A summary of the results follows:

This result is the company’s highest stone count recorded from a single sample which surpassed the earlier record of 215 stones. The hole was not fully cleared due to a mechanical problem.

To further evaluate the areas, the company is currently sampling at 25 to 50 metre intervals. Results on Site III are:

An aborted sample from this area contained 17 stones with an average size of 0.44 carats, including a 2 carat stone.

The previously reported average diamond size from the company’s Luderitz concession of 0.25 carats was an estimate based on seive sizes. Following land based weighing, this has now been reassessed at 0.33 carats.

The company’s program continues to test and expand areas of diamond enrichment.
