Two trainees, from Thailand and Nigeria, completed a six-week Interoceanmetal Joint Organization training programme in polymetallic nodules project management in Szczecin, Poland.

The IOM-2019 scientific expedition aboard R/V Gelendzhik ran from 9 May to 2 August 2019 to explore polymetallic nodule blocks H22_NE and H33.
