Friends of MOBY,
Last week, Arjun C R, one of our founding engineers and I represented MOBY at Ai4 in Las Vegas, North America’s largest AI conference. It was a great opportunity to connect with leaders in applied AI and share what we’ve been building.

As one of the conference’s featured speakers, Arjun presented MOBY’s ocean intelligence platform, which transforms the data collected by our robotic systems Dorado and Mantis into semantically tagged 3D maps that can be searched using natural language. Through a web browser users can explore detailed 3D reconstructions of the seafloor, and view immersive 360° video with marine life identified and tagged across every dive.
The response was incredibly encouraging, and the conversations that followed reinforced the growing demand for AI tools that make complex ocean data accessible and actionable.
Warm regards,

Alexander Petersen
