Bratislava (Slovakia) The Deputy Director General of IOM P. Balaz took part in the workshop Critical minerals for Slovakia, held on 21 June 2023. The event was organized by the State Geological Institute of Dionyz Stur in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, the Comenius University Bratislava and the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. P. Balaz presented information on results of exploration for polymetallic nodules in the IOM license area, including estimation of resources of contained critical metals.
