JAKARTA — PT TIMAH Tbk (“the Company”; IDX: TINS), a member of the MIND ID Holding Group, held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) at the Ballroom of Hotel Borobudur on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.
The meeting approved a strengthening of the Company’s management at the Board of Directors level. The decision to change the management was taken in consideration of the need to strengthen the Company’s business strategy in facing the increasingly dynamic global tin industry and to reinforce sustainable performance.
This step is an effort to strengthen the Company’s governance and to improve its operational and business performance going forward, driving the achievement of the targets that have been set.
Corporate Secretary of PT TIMAH Tbk, Rendi Kurniawan, said the management of PT TIMAH Tbk remains committed to improving the Company’s performance, managing tin natural resources, and increasing added value for the state and all stakeholders.
“The change of management is a moment of renewal to continue strengthening internal synergy. PT Timah Tbk is committed to strengthening governance, improving operational performance, and ensuring that the company’s contribution to the state and to society can continue sustainably,” said Rendi.
Rendi added that the management of PT Timah Tbk expressed its appreciation to all shareholders for the support given to the various strategic steps the Company is undertaking. That support, he said, is an important encouragement for the company in strengthening its performance and achieving its targets.
With the new management structure, the Company is optimistic it can strengthen its competitiveness, improve efficiency, and expand its positive contribution to national and regional economic development. Management also hopes that support and synergy from communities in the company’s operational areas can continue to be maintained, so that PT Timah Tbk’s efforts to improve performance and business sustainability can proceed in line with regional progress.
“PT Timah Tbk wants to grow and develop through the strengthening of tin governance that is synergistic with the community. We believe the company’s progress must go hand in hand with the progress of the region in which the company operates. Therefore, we strongly hope that the support and synergy established so far can continue to be maintained,” Rendi concluded.
