Odyssey Marine Exploration (NASDAQ: OMEX) has filed a Form 12b-25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, notifying investors of a late filing for its quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2025.
The Tampa-based deep-sea mineral exploration company said it was unable, without unreasonable effort and expense, to complete the accounting records and schedules required for its independent auditors to review the financial statements in time. Odyssey confirmed it expects to file the Form 10-Q within the permitted five-day extension.
The company also stated that no significant change in results of operations is anticipated compared to the same period last year. CEO Mark Gordon signed the notification on August 15, 2025.
