On December 26, the State Key Laboratory of Deep-Sea Mineral Resources Development and Utilization Technology (the State Key Laboratory) held the meeting of its fourth academic committee in Changsha. Academic committee chairman and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Ding Rongjun, vice chairman and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Li Jiabiao, and the other academic committee members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yuqiang, chief financial officer of the Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CRIMM).
CRIMM Party committee secretary and chairman Zhuo Xiaojun delivered a welcome address by video, and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Li Jiabiao, Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Management Committee deputy director Wang Xianmin, and China Minmetals science and technology management department deputy director Wang Sheng each delivered remarks.
The meeting pointed out the direction and clarified the goals for the future development of the State Key Laboratory, and is of great significance for advancing all aspects of the laboratory’s work.
