Diamond Fields International Ltd. has appointed Sybrand van der Spuy to the board of directors.
Mr. van der Spuy’s career line has its foundation in an operationally focused military career as a senior officer spanning over 20 years. He has an extensive record both in Africa and the Middle East, where his career has been focused as an operational troubleshooter and managerial optimizer with a 14-year background in enterprise risk management, business continuity, security implementation and consultation. He has extensive exposure from policy formulation to operational systems implementation in critical infrastructure, hydrocarbons and mining industries, and he provides an invaluable asset to the board of directors of the company.
The board of directors of the company now comprises six directors, being Norman Roderic Baker, Earl Young, Gregg Sedun, Warner Bruckmann, Sybrand van der Spuy and Ian Ransome.
