Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp.’s board of directors, by a resolution adopted on Jan. 5, 2011, has authorized the extension until Jan. 26, 2012, of the 1,590,625 share purchase warrants set to expire on Jan. 26, 2011. These warrants have an exercise price of 15 cents.

As of today, 100,000 of the original 1,590,625 purchase warrants have been exercised, leaving 1,490,625 warrants outstanding.

The extension is subject to the approval of regulatory authorities.
