Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp.’s board of directors, by a resolution adopted on June 12, 2008, has authorized the extension until Feb. 1, 2009, of the 5,769,500 share purchase warrants set to expire on Aug. 1, 2008, and until June 12, 2009, of the 1,923,077 share purchase warrants set to expire on Dec. 12, 2008. These warrants have an exercise price of 18 cents.
As of today, 1,259,577 purchase warrants expiring on Aug. 1, 2008, have been exercised and 543,558 purchase warrants expiring on Dec. 12, 2008, have been exercised.
The extensions are subject to the approval of regulatory authorities.
