Nautilus Minerals Inc. has completed the private placement of units as set forth in the company’s information circular dated Oct. 19, 2007, for gross proceeds of $39.1-million (Canadian) (equal to $39.4-million (U.S.) or 19.1 million pounds).
David Heydon, Nautilus’s chief executive officer, commented, “The company is now well positioned to maintain its momentum and exploration with cash on hand of approximately $295-million (U.S.) (equal to $292-million (Canadian) or 143 million pounds).”
Application has been made for the 10,859,690 common shares issued in connection with the placement to be admitted to the Alternative Investment Market. The common shares are expected to be admitted to trading on Dec. 4, 2007.
