Edward Flood has agreed to join the board of directors of Diamond Fields International
Ltd. (DFI).
After 11 years as president and deputy chairman of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd.
(until February, 2007), Mr. Flood became managing director, investment banking,
for Haywood Securities (U.K.) Ltd., a subsidiary of one of Canada’s leading
independent investment dealers. He is also the chairman of Western Uranium
Corp., and director to several mineral exploration and development
companies. Prior to joining Ivanhoe, from 1993 to 1995, Mr. Flood was a
principal at Robertson Stephens & Co., a U.S. investment bank, and a member of
Robertson Stephens’s investment team. From 1983 to 1993, he served as manager,
project evaluation, for NERCO Minerals Company. He also held the position of
senior mining analyst with Haywood Securities Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Mr.
Flood holds a master’s degree in science (geology) from the University of
Montana and a BSc (geology) degree from the University of Nevada.
