Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. has retained the services of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton as auditor to replace KPGM LLP.
There were no unresolved issues or other reportable events involving KPMG, and management believes that Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is able to provide a level of services more appropriate to Afri-Can’s requirements.
The change is effective for the year ended Aug. 31, 2005, and will be subject to shareholder ratification at the annual meeting of shareholders.
