Diamond Fields International has sold 3,532 carats of diamond production mined from its Luderitz concession for an average price of $132.52 (U.S.) per carat.
The tender sale was conducted in Antwerp through Diamond Tenders (Belgium) N.V.
The price achieved was above market expectations and reflected the strengthening, since the beginning of the year, in market prices for rough diamonds.
