Key points
- Between December 6 1993 and January 23 1994, 3,816 km of geophysical traverse were completed and numerous seabed samples were collected.
- Preliminary interpretation indicates all three marine diamond concession areas, totalling 1035 square km, contain significant diamond bearing potential.
- The program will be completed by mid March with an estimated 7,000 km of geophysics and 200 vibrocores.
- A next exploration phase of systematic bulk sampling to assess diamond bearing potential and reserves will begin in June 1994.

The program will be completed by mid March with an estimated 7,000 km of geophysics and 200 vibrocores. Further interpretation will be provided within three months of completion of data acquisition.
The next exploration phase, to begin in June 1994, will comprise systematic bulk sampling to enable the diamond bearing potential and reserves to be accurately assessed.
