R/V Bothnia Surveyor in port in Harnosand.
On 21 May 2022, in connection with the Swedish Navy celebrating 500 years in Harnosand, a formal renaming ceremony was held. The Navy’s chaplain Cristina Gronroos led the ceremony and Chief of Navy Ewa Skoog Haslum honoured us with her presence.
We thank the former owner, the University of Gothenburg, for all the knowledge and fellowship the vessel has contributed to students, researchers and oceanography alike.
