Diamond Fields International Ltd. has appointed Al Gourley as non-executive chairman and a director of the company. Mr. Gourley is the regional managing partner of Fasken Martineau LLP in London. He is a globally recognized resource lawyer, having led many U.K. and Canadian initial public offerings, secondary and alternative finance transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the resource sector, particularly cross-border transactions involving Europe, Africa, Australia and Canada. Mr. Gourley is also currently the chairman of the World Initiative of Mining Lawyers based in Europe.
