Working Meeting with KOMAG

Gliwice (Poland) KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology in Gliwice and the Interoceanmetal Joint Organization join forces to develop mining collector for polymetallic nodules. In cooperation with KOMAG, we are starting work on the mining collector. The first stage concerns the hydraulic tests of the collecting head. For this purpose, KOMAG has built for us a prototype of a hydraulic head that minimizes the impact on the bottom environment of the ocean. There are plans to start tests and evaluate the effectiveness of collecting polymetallic nodules. The working meeting was held at the KOMAG headquarters in Gliwice on January 21, 2022.
