The 81st Council of Interoceanmetal Joint Organization

Szczecin (Poland) The 81st meeting of the IOM Council was held from 13 to 17 November 2023 at the IOM headquarters in Szczecin, Poland. The meeting was chaired by Mr Dušan Kúšik, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Slovak Republic. The important topics were the appointment of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs T. Nemska-Dosheva and the appointment of the Chairperson and members of the Audit Committee. The agenda also included organizational, legal, environmental and scientific issues related to the activities of the organization. The Director General of IOM Mr T. Abramowski presented his report on the activities of the organization. Ms K. Mianowicz, IOM senior specialist on environmental procedural standards, gave a presentation on the current state of ISA’s environmental regulations and requirements. The next meeting of the Council will be held in Szczecin in June 2024.
