Last month, Synne Langelo Wågbø successfully defended her Master’s thesis at the University of Bergen, titled “Mineral composition and fluid inclusion characteristics of the extinct Deep Insight Hill seafloor massive sulfide deposit, Mohns Ridge”. Synne has been working on the rock cores collected using FlexiCore™ during the DeepInsight23 expedition. Her work has been focused on determining the mineralogy of different core segments – in addition to studying fluid inclusions of the Deep Insight Hill seafloor massive sulfide deposit at the Mohns Ridge. We are very impressed by the work she has put down, and to have been contributing to making her thesis possible!
